台南市麻豆區港尾國小，為維護學童上下學安全，強化學生養成良好交通安全觀念，減少交通事故意外，20日上午邀請麻豆警分局交通組組長宋文達，為同學說明近年來轄區內發生的車禍案例，及行車注意事項，提升同學對交通常識的認知以及強化遵守交通安全的觀念。

港尾國小學生上下學多是由家人以汽、機車接送，所以會中宋組長特別拜託同學提醒家人注意，不可闖紅燈、超速、酒後駕車及騎乘機車要戴合格的安全帽等等，來保護大家的行車安全，減少交通事故的發生帶來的意外傷害。

麻豆警分局分局長楊青垂表示，轄內各級學校都非常重視學生交通安全，所以麻豆分局每年都會受邀到個個學校擔任交通宣導大使，希望在不斷的宣導中，有效降低交通事故發生，也期望交通安全觀念能向下扎根，讓意外係數趨近於零，向交通安全環境的目標前進。
